Have you ever felt lost in your own life? Or just unsure what your next step will be? Have you been anxious about the future? Have you given your all to your kids and now there’s just not much left for you?
Are there times that you just want the world to disappear and leave you alone?
I’ve been there too! When you’re stuck and not able to figure out how to get past this point in your life, It’s frustrating. When your kids were your life and now they’ve moved on, what is left for you to do? It’s confusing!
Sometimes we need a little help uncovering what we want out of our current place in life. We’ve spent so much time taking care our families and we’ve forgotten to take care of ourselves. We need some support to move forward again. It’s ok! It happens to so many of us. You can begin to reconnect with yourself and you can live a full life once you have launched your kids into adulthood. The first step is to begin to forge a connection to your body. When you can do this, you can begin to tap into your own inner wisdom and do just what you need for you to be fulfilled again.
I’m on a mission to help mothers move through their mid-life transition from full-time mom to empty nester so that they can reinvent themselves with a renewed sense of purpose and confidently start their next chapter of life.
WHat would it be like to begin your healing journey?
Yoga therapy has given me such insight into who I am and what I want out of life. Each time that I receive a yoga therapy session, I gain a deeper understanding of myself. As a result, I’m empowered to take the steps that I need in order to live a life where I’m more confident and at ease.
What would it be like for you to go through your day with a feeling of confidence and less stress?
What would it mean to you to have less pain in your life?
If you’ve ever experienced an ache in your body that just won’t go away, then consider that your body is trying to tell you that there is an issue that you need to deal with and release. Until you do reconnect with the issue, it will keep reappearing in your life and causing you distress in one form or another.
There is a direct connection between your body and your life. You just have to be willing to listen to that connection.
My healing journey…
Like a lot of other women, I’m a nurturer. I take care of others naturally. I used to sacrifice myself so that I could take care of others. I didn’t value myself enough. This led to resentment, stress and exhaustion.
That all changed when I began a yoga practice. Yoga began to transform me slowly but surely. I still cared about others, but I slowly began to transform my daily life and began to care about myself too. I began to notice the many things that I juggled. I also noticed that I could only juggle for so long before something was missed. As my kids got older the juggling just got worse. My yoga practice helped me to see that I couldn’t continue to sacrifice myself just so that I could juggle even more things in my life. I also realized that I had been juggling everything for other people. My own interests weren’t even a part of the juggling act. Since I had lost touch with myself, I couldn’t even begin to describe what my own interests were. I began to see that I needed to rediscover what my own desires and needs were so that I could move forward into The Next Chapter of my life with purpose and confidence. I slowly learned that by being true to myself, I could actually better support others.
I discovered yoga therapy in 2015 and it was a huge part of the process of redefining myself. Yoga therapy supports the process of change in your life. I was at a time in my own life when I was going through multiple changes. My daughter was about to graduate high school and my son wasn’t too far behind her. My husband lost his job. My priorities were changing.
The support that I received through yoga therapy empowered me to take action where I needed. It helped me to grow and accept who I am. I began to see the possibilities in my life as I also began to more deeply value my own self worth.
Now, I have the privilege to help other women navigate change in their lives. It doesn’t matter whether you started the change or whether change was thrust upon you. Change can be hard to accept. I’ll support you in this process. Be empowered to find peace. Have the courage to transform. Accept that as you grow in your own self-care, you’ll be able to serve more people.
I specialize in supporting women Empty Nesters and those with chronic pain.

Do you have chronic pain? Do you feel as if you’ve tried everything?
If you’ve tried traditional methods to deal with your chronic pain and nothing seems to be working, then it’s time to try a nontraditional approach. I’ve had success helping women reduce chronic pain. Clients have used the mind/body connection to release and move forward. Using embodied mindfulness, you can too.
Begin to listen to the whispers of your body instead of waiting for it to scream for your attention. Learn to be in the present moment as you begin to make a shift in your body and life.
No yoga experience is required. I’m ready to guide you in this process of healing.
We’ll work together to create a healing path for you. Instead of me telling you what will make you feel better, you’ll connect to your inner wisdom to create a life with more ease and less stress. You have this wisdom in you already. I believe in you! You just have to listen to it and be willing to follow your own advice.
and i love making an impact
Here’s what HAPPY clients say about their Yoga Therapy Journeys…
I first started going to Peach Blossom after the birth of my son. My pregnancy and his first months of life were challenging. I spent time on hospital bedrest and he spent six weeks in the NICU. Yoga therapy with Becky helped me greatly during the transition into motherhood. I have had several sessions and each has been unique and deeply beneficial so much so that I’ve continued to see Becky over the course of the last year to address other past traumas. I highly recommend scheduling an appointment with her, youA will be so glad that you did!D. B. F. | Greenville, SC
